The Council will meet on Tuesday 7 February 2102 at 7.30 p.m. (up to 30 minutes will be allowed at the start of the meeting for public questions and comments on relevant matters on the following agenda). The public  have a right and are welcome to stay and observe the rest of the meeting.  Members of the Council are summoned to the above meeting to be held
at the above address.

731.0 Declarations of Interest: by Councillors on any matters on the agenda, the nature of that interest and whether the Councillor considers that interest to be prejudicial under the terms of the Code of Conduct – this should then be repeated prior to that agenda item.
Clerk to distribute forms to update any interests that should be declared.

732.0 Apologies for absence:  Apologies and reasons for absence to be  recorded in the  attendance register on acceptance by the Council.

733.0 Co-option of Councillor for Ticehurst:

734.0 Minutes of the meeting held on 3rd January 2012:  - to approve and authorise the Chairman to sign as a correct record.

735.0 Additional Agenda Items:  To consider such other items as the Chairman    decides are urgent and due notice of which has been given to the Clerk by 12 noon on the day.  No decisions/resolutions can be made under this agenda point.

736.0  Flimwell Hall:  Update from Graham Peters  on meeting with Flimwell Trust on 2nd February 2012 – to be tabled at meeting.

737.0 Neighbourhood Plan:  Invitation from Hawkhurst PC to share resources.

752.0 Recreation Grounds  Rubbish collection  - need cover for the winter months.

753.0   Trimming of Hedges and footpaths: Request that ESCC are more robust in requesting field owners to cut hedges – resolution required.
Clerk has requested that Banky Field footpath is kept clear through ESCC footpaths officer and footpath to rear of Royal Oak on A21 has been blocked off.

756.0 The Bell Field:  (Confidential). The Council will move to exclude the press and public for this item on the agenda by reason of the confidential nature of the business, as stated in section 1 of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 and amended by Section 100 of the Local Government Act 1972.  The reason for the confidentiality is due to on- going litigation matters.
